IT For All — Practical Digital Skills to Help You Stay Ahead
Have you ever wished someone would just show you, step by step, how to actually use your phone and the internet to get ahead — not just scroll it? That's this course.
IT For All is a hands-on digital skills programme built for Cameroonian youth: secondary students, recent graduates, job-seekers, young traders — anyone who wants to work smarter, stay safer online, and be taken seriously in a job application or interview. You don't need a laptop. Everything is designed to run on an Android phone with a Google account, so no one is left out because they don't own a computer.
Over 14 sessions (about 90 minutes each, twice a week for 7 weeks), you'll build real, usable skills across six areas:
- Digital Foundations — understand how your device and the internet actually work, back up your photos and files automatically, and spot a fake website before it costs you anything.
- Digital Productivity — write clean documents and working spreadsheets, send emails that actually get replies, and set up a professional WhatsApp Business profile.
- Staying Safe Online — use a password manager, recognize phishing and Mobile Money scams, lock down your SIM card, and turn on two-factor authentication so your accounts can't be taken from you.
- AI for Everyday Life — use tools like ChatGPT and Claude properly: understand what they're good at, when they get things confidently wrong, and how to prompt them for study, work, and everyday problems.
- Fix Your Own Stuff — troubleshoot a dead connection, speed up a slow phone, and recover a forgotten password without paying a technician.
- Career & Workplace Readiness — build a real CV and LinkedIn profile, clean up your digital footprint, search and apply for jobs the way people actually get hired in Cameroon, and learn the unwritten rules of a professional workplace.
Every session follows the same rhythm: watch the instructor do it live, then do a different version yourself in your own workbook, then apply it to something real in your own life — your own accounts, your own job search, your own family. Nothing here is theoretical.
Finish all 14 sessions and your Assignment Labs, and you'll walk away with a certificate of completion, a real CV, a secured set of online accounts, and skills you'll actually keep using.
